SUMMER READING LIST: LANDON METZ
Landon Metz is a New York-based artist whose paintings (and use of paintings) have inspired us at Book/Shop endlessly. He is, in our opinion, the best young painter now working. Landon's work has a depth born of his wide reading (he keeps an impressive library right in his gorgeous Brooklyn painting studio), and this small sampling is, we know, a fraction of what Landon could have shared with us.
