Wes Del Val is an art book publisher in New York. A true book-lover, he goes to his local magazine store and library several times a week, and knows that print is not leaving us any time soon. Even though he thinks way too many books are being published today, he says he wouldn't want to be doing anything else as a career.
Marcelo Gomes is a Brazilian-born photographer and director based in New York City. We've been following his dreamy, inventive work for years (which has been everywhere), but we love how his open and optimistic personality shines so bright in his new work for Apple, currently seen on huge backlit LED panels in their stores worldwide. His enthusiasm shows through in his reading recommendations, too, and we can't wait to check out some of his favorites this summer.
Derek Brahney is an artist and conceptual designer living in New York City. We're fans of his projects, some of which balance witty sarcasm with a serious satirical eye aimed at the small annoyances and larger problems of contemporary American life, and others that display a keen eye for transforming the mundane into the surprising & beautiful.
